Children’s Art Week is back this June (Sat 10-Sun 18) and looks set to be bigger and better than ever! Get creative and have fun at events like Artsparks Saturdays at Jupiter Artland, Edinburgh (Sat 17 June): Swiss artist Nicholas Party will transform Jupiter Artland’s café into an immersive and fantastical dining experience. Join in by creating your own artworks inspired by Party’s work! Current Children’s Laureate, Chris Riddell is a Children’s Art Week Ambassador and said: ‘I’m delighted to support Children’s Art Week, a fantastic opportunity for children and families all over the UK to try experience the visual arts and see how much fun can be had from trying creative activities.’ Many events are free and details of all local Children’s Art Week events can be found on the website childrensartweek.org.uk and events will be added right up until the end of May.
