The R&A World Golf Museum

The R&A World Golf Museum’s immersive galleries bring the past, present and future of golf to life around you. Thousands of fascinating objects reveal hidden stories of the game and personalities.

We work collaboratively with schools to create a session tailored to the needs of the class. Our sessions align with the Curriculum for Excellence, and we offer the following topics; St Andrews – The Home of Golf, Championship Golf, The Art of Golf and The People of Golf.

We use the Learning Room and galleries for activities and the study of objects to encourage a creative learning experience. Handling objects and encouraging children to ask questions will connect them with the collections and stimulate their imaginations. Pupils also have the chance to try on replica vintage golf clothing and putt with hickory clubs. Learning & Access Curator, Hannah Fleming can be contacted hannahfleming@randa.org or 01334 460046 to arrange your visit.
