The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA) has launched a brand-new academy at Wallyford Learning Campus, opening its doors on Saturday, 30 August. The academy welcomes young people aged six to 18 for three-hour sessions from 9:45 am, offering a unique mix of Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama, and Film & TV.
“There’s nothing quite like PQA in this area,” said the team. “We’re especially proud to offer our Film & TV modules, giving students a rare chance to explore storytelling and production in a truly hands-on way.”
More than a performing arts school, PQA is devoted to creating a safe, inclusive space where children and teenagers can discover self-belief. Alongside performance training, students develop vital life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and imagination. From scriptwriting and directing to singing and dancing, PQA offers opportunities for every child to explore their creativity and shine.
