Live Orchestral Experience for Music and Art Students

Immerse your students in an unforgettable journey through music and visual art with Immerse 2025 — a live orchestral experience designed especially for upper secondary music and art pupils.
Led by conductor Chloe Rooke, this year’s concert features a thrilling mix of classical favourites and contemporary creativity, with live performances by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
🎵 Programme Highlights
- SIBELIUS – Pelléas et Mélisande suite, Movement I
- BEETHOVEN – Symphony No. 6, Movements III & IV
- JAY CAPPERAULD – The Origin of Colour
SCO Associate Composer Jay Capperauld will present his own work, sharing insights into the creative process behind The Origin of Colour. He’ll be joined by visual artist and musician Kirsty Matheson, who will reveal her paintings inspired by both Capperauld’s music and Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony.
Together, they will explore the fascinating world of synesthesia – a phenomenon where music and colour intertwine.
