Free education visits at UK Parliament!

Looking for a memorable and meaningful learning experience for pupils? Free education visits to the UK Parliament offer a rare opportunity to bring democracy, citizenship and history vividly to life.

Running across the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms, these visits are designed to support classroom learning through curricula-informed workshops delivered in the dedicated Education Centre, followed by an unforgettable guided tour of the historic UK Parliament. With the next booking date opening on 28 January, schools are encouraged to plan ahead for this popular opportunity.

Pupils can take part in an engaging workshop that explores how laws are made, how Parliament works, and why participation in democracy matters. The experience is then brought to life during a tour of the iconic Palace of Westminster, allowing children to see the chambers and spaces where key decisions shaping the UK are debated and decided.

Visits are completely free, making them an accessible option for schools, with two formats available: a tour and workshop lasting 2 hours 15 minutes, or a tour-only visit of 1 hour 30 minutes.

For pupils, it’s an inspiring day out. For teachers, it’s a powerful way to connect learning beyond the classroom — at the very heart of UK democracy.
