Get ready to step into a world where music and imagination come together as The Great Grumpy Gaboon returns for another spellbinding adventure with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
Following three sold-out seasons, this family favourite is back in February 2027, bringing playful characters, toe-tapping music and a heartwarming story of friendship and forgiveness to audiences in Dundee, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
Young adventurers can join Woolly Wello, Long-legged Lin, Fluey Lu and Hoppity Boppit as they travel through enchanted lands on a mission to discover the secret behind the Great Grumpy Gaboon’s mysterious grumps.
Along the way, they’ll encounter the mischievous Screature, a maker of musical mayhem, and the wise and kindly All Knowing Umpet, who might just hold the key to happiness.
Featuring music by Jay Capperauld, with story and illustrations by Corrina Campbell and Gordon Bragg conducting, the approximately 45-minute performance is designed especially for families and children aged 6+.
