Raise the Flag Day.
The Golden Lions parachute into Holyrood Park, Edinburgh with the Armed Forces Flag.
The flag is then handed over to the Army who drove up the Royal Mile in Austin Champ 1953 and pass the flag to 3 Rifles.
Lord Provost takes the flag and raises it on top of the City Chambers building.
Armed Forces Day is a chance for the public to learn more about the services.
