Baking it Better

The Ramsay family will be digging out their mixing bowls, rolling pins and cookie cutters to take each other on and see who can create the best ‘star bake’ as they put on their very own Bake it Better bake sale to help raise vital dough for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. They are encouraging all amateur bakers to join them between 17 and 23 October in creating tempting treats to sell in the office or at school, in a bid to raise money for the charity as part of the partnership between the Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Money raised will help Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide world-class care for young patients and their families, help with the rebuilding of the hospital, support ground-breaking research, fund most up-to-date equipment and provide accommodation and other support services for children and their families. Gordon said: “Tana and I are delighted to support Great Ormond Street Hospital. Having spent time visiting the hospital we know what a difference your money can make to the lives of thousands of seriously ill children and to help find the cures of the future. We want to encourage everyone to rise to the challenge and join us by getting baking for GOSH.” For more information and to request a fundraising kit, visit bakeitbetter.org
