Excel Sports Camps run every Easter, summer and October break. Excel Sports Camps are based at St Georges School in Murrayfield and welcome children aged five to 15 years. The children follow a structured timetable led by friendly and experienced staff and sports coaches.

Excel promises to make every day special offering a wide variety of sports and activities to ensure maximum fun, enjoyment and the opportunity to learn something new. Excel is a place to learn, enjoy, develop and meet new friends and happy children means happy parents. The Easter camp will have a Life Savings Skills course integrated into the week’s sporting activities.

Dance Base is a brilliant resource for the whole family, offering dance classes for all ages and all levels of experience.

Based in Edinburgh’s Grassmarket, Dance Base is Scotland’s National Centre for Dance and in its four spectacular dance studios you can go on a journey through dance with your family. You can bond with your baby in Baby Steps, then get creative with your toddler or pre-schooler in Dance ‘n’ Play or Creative Dance. Once your child becomes a bit more independent, they can try out classes on their own, like Mini Dance Academy, Street & Hip Hop, or Aerial Dance.

Meanwhile, parents and grandparents can try out a vast range of classes – everything from Ballet, Tap and Jazz to Ballroom, Tango and Cuban Salsa, to Bollywood, Belly Dance and Hip Hop. Oscars operates breakfast clubs, after-school clubs and holiday programmes throughout East and Central Scotland for children aged five to 14 years. Founded in 1992, the company has welcomed thousands of children to its centres over the years who have enjoyed participating in many diverse activities from sports and games to art, pottery and performing arts.
