An astonishingly moving and heart-warming debut about a space-obsessed boy’s quest for answers. As 11-year-old Alex Petroski sets out on a mission to launch his iPod into space, via a series of audio recordings, Alex will show other life forms out in the cosmos, what life on Earth – his Earth – is really like. MOVIES

Beauty and The Beast

Cert PG Release date: Friday 17 March

A re-telling of the timeless tale for a new generation. Follow the fantastic journey of Belle (Emma Watson) a spirited, intelligent and beautiful woman who is taken prisoner by a beast (Dan Stevens) in his castle. Trapped and alone, she gradually begins to befriend the castle’s enchanted staff – Cogsworth the clock, Lumiere the candlestick and Mrs. Potts the teapot. Despite her fears, she learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realises the kind heart and soul of the true prince within. An all-star cast brings the tale as old as time to life in this live-action remake of Disney’s animated classic.

The Boss Baby

Cert PG Release date: Friday 7 April

A hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7-year-old named Tim. DreamWorks Animation, and the director of Madagascar, invite you to meet a most unusual baby. He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin, and teams with his brother to stop the dastardly plot of the CEO of Puppy Co. With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, The Boss Baby is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages.
